बिम्ब या छवि किसी प्राणी की किसी व्यक्ति, वस्तु, स्थान, घटना, प्राणी, विचार या परिस्थिति की अनुपस्थिति में उससे सम्बन्धित लौकिक अनुभव सदृश संवेदी बोध से उत्पन्न मनो-जैविक प्रभाव दायी एवं समायोजन को प्रभावित करने वाली वह मानसिक अवस्था है, जिसमें प्राणी कभी-कभी स्वयं को भी एक पात्र के रूप में देखता या महसूस करता है।
