ज्योतिष प्राकृतिक पदार्थों, द्रव्य, ऊर्जा, प्रकाश, विद्युत, ऊर्जा, तत्वों, परमाणुओं, रसायनों, जैव रासायनिक पदार्थों, ग्रहों, तारों सहित विश्व एवं ब्रह्माण्ड के पदार्थों एवं प्राणियों की उत्पत्ति, स्थितियों, प्रभाव, परिवर्तन और विकासात्मक अवस्थाओं तथा प्राणियों के अंतर्निहित शक्तियों और मनो-शारीरिक पहलुओं के साथ-साथ दृश्य, अदृश्य, परा-मनोवैज्ञानिक और आध्यात्मिक शक्ति के संबंध में उनके प्रभावों, अस्तित्व और अंतःक्रियाओं का अध्ययन है।

Astrology is the study of the origin, conditions, effects, changes and evolutionary stages of the world and universe including natural substances, matter, energy, light, electricity, energy, elements, atoms, chemicals, biochemical substances, planets, stars and their effects, existence and interactions with the inherent powers and psycho-physical aspects of beings as well as with visible, invisible, para-psychological and spiritual forces.
